Overview

GoodfieldDaily.org is a static informational website. This policy describes what data the site collects, how it is used, and how visitors can control their preferences.

Data collected

This site does not operate a database or server-side user tracking system. The following limited data interactions occur:

• Server access logs: Standard web server logs record IP addresses, request paths, timestamps, and browser user-agent strings. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes and are not shared with third parties.
• Cookie consent preference: When you interact with the cookie consent banner, your choice (accept or reject) is stored in your browser's localStorage. No data is transmitted to a server as part of this interaction.
• Contact form: The contact form on the About page is a front-end simulation. Form data is not transmitted to any server or stored externally. It is discarded when the page session ends.

Cookies and local storage

This site stores one item in your browser's localStorage: your cookie consent preference (gfd_cookie_consent). This value is either accepted or rejected and is used only to determine whether to display the consent banner on repeat visits to the homepage. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.

If you use the "Reject" option on the consent banner, no additional data storage beyond the preference itself takes place.

Third-party resources

This site loads the following resources from third-party servers:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com): The Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces are loaded from Google's font delivery network. This request may expose your IP address to Google's servers. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org): Images on this site are served directly from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences. Your browser makes a direct request to Wikimedia's servers when loading these images. Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy is at foundation.wikimedia.org.

Given that this site collects minimal personal data and does not operate a user database, most of these rights are exercised simply by clearing your browser's localStorage or by not using the site.

Children

This site does not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 13 and does not target content toward children.
